The relevant information you have provided in this registration form will be passed on to or collected by Curiosity Sussex and its subcontracted registration provider to secure your event registration. In processing such information, Curiosity Sussex and its subcontracted registration provider shall ensure that all suppliers to whom personal information is passed shall be made aware of the restrictions in using such personal information and shall only use the personal information to process any event registration arrangements in strict accordance with instructions from Curiosity Sussex, for the sole purpose of providing event registration arrangements for the event. This also applies to any sensitive information you provide such as details of any disabilities or dietary or religious requirements. The information may also be provided to public authorities if required by them, or by law. Under no circumstances will any personal information be used for further marketing or advertising.
In the event that the destination is not within the European Economic Area (EEA), you should be aware that controls on data protection may not be as strong as those in the United Kingdom. Neither Curiosity Sussex nor its subcontracted registration provider will pass your information to any party who is not responsible for a part of your registration arrangements for the event.
Please be aware that if Curiosity Sussex and its subcontracted registration provider cannot pass this information to the relevant suppliers, whether in the EEA or not, your registration cannot be processed.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your registration booking account and password. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. You should take all necessary steps to ensure that the password is kept confidential and secure and should inform us immediately if you have any reason to believe that your password has become known to anyone else, or if the password is being, or is likely to be, used in an unauthorised manner.

Please note that all visitors to Curiosity Sussex events including Brighton WonderFest aged under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. ID may be asked for at entry.
Photography
Our on-site photography, video recording and broadcast terms and conditions are set out below. Photography and video recording will be used for marketing and promotional purposes by Curiosity Sussex and our partners only. The material may be broadcast through radio, television and all digital channels as well as through print media.
Broadcast Terms and Conditions
We protect and collect photos, videos and audio, where people are identifiable, as personal data, and also permit some of our partners to do so, in the following circumstances:
At Events
Filming and photography by or on behalf of Curiosity Sussex takes place at our events. Your (or your child’s) actual or simulated likeness may be captured and recorded if you attend one of our events. Photos and videos are used for Brighton WonderFest’s promotional purposes, including publication on our website, social media and printed media and may also be shared with the press and trusted third parties for this purpose. When we take video recordings or photos where we intend to use them for commercial advertising, we will ask for your signed consent.
In addition to complying with the Data Protection Act 1998, Curiosity Sussex rely on our legitimate interest assessment when we are photographing or filming at our events. This is because due to the large number of visitors who attend our events, obtaining signed consent from each individual person attending is not always practical. Therefore at events in public spaces permission may not always requested from individuals.
By entering any Curiosity Sussex events you acknowledge that you have been informed about the photography and filming terms and to the use of your (or your child’s) actual or simulated likeness for Brighton WonderFest promotional purposes as stated above without compensation.
We will notify you about the filming and photography in advance of our events. We will also notify you about the filming and photography through posters displayed at our events. When we are filming we will endeavour to let those at the event know so that the area can be avoided if you don’t want your likeness to be captured or recorded. All official photographers will be easily identifiable.
Personal photography is permitted at our events but please do not share any pictures or videos of our events and activities on social media where other people’s children can be identified.
Opt-Out
You (and the children in your care) can opt-out of photography or filming at any time, including asking for photos or film to be deleted as part of your ‘right to be forgotten’. If you specifically desire to opt out of onsite photography/filming, please make this known to a member of the organising team. Identifiers will be made available at our events for those wishing to be made easily identifiable to photographers as having opted out of photography and filming. Please ask a member of the organising team on the day for more details.
